    Nice Cream for Breakfast

    A strawberry banana smoothie bowl is the perfect breakfast for a summer morning. You wake up, blend everything together, top it with your preferred toppings, and you have a very healthy vitamin loaded breakfast. The great thing is that it only takes you 5 minutes to make it and you just need 3 ingredients. I assume you have your preferred toppings anyway at home!

    Smoothie bowls are loaded with vitamins, as they are only made with frozen fruits and plant-based milk. They are not only great for breakfast, you can eat them as well as a dessert on hot summer days. It feels like eating ice cream but healthier.

    This strawberry banana smoothie bowl is made with banana, strawberries, and vanilla soy milk. It is absolutely possible to substitute the vanilla soy milk with another plant-based milk, but be aware that if you use unsweetened milk, it might be not sweet enough. Therefore you can add some date or coconut blossom syrup.

    Ingredients
     

    • 1 banana frozen
    • ¾ cup (120g) strawberries frozen
    • ⅓ cup (80ml) vanilla soy milk

    Instructions
     

    • Blend all ingredients together in a high-speed mixer.
    • Top your smoothie bowl with your preferred toppings.
      Here are some suggestions: Banana, Berries, Cacao Nibs, Granola.

    Notes

    Give your blender a bit time with the frozen fruits. I do blend as much as possible, leave it to rest for 3 minutes, and blend it again. My blender sometimes has a bit difficulties with mixing the frozen fruits, and the trick with waiting for a few minutes works wonder.
