When the days are starting to get shorter and fall slowly starts to make its way into our days, you know it’s time for: Pumpkin Season!!!
And who doesn’t love this utterly delicious and popular fall produce?
Pumpkin and winter squashes are super versatile and can be used to make soup, desserts, or a decent comfort dinner!
First, let me introduce you to my two all-time favorite squashes.
Red Kuri Squash
Also known as Hokkaido. Has a dark orange-red color and can be eaten with the skin on! No tedious peeling needed when using this squash.
Butternut Squash
Probably the most delicious squash there is! Butternut pumpkin has a beautiful and slightly nutty taste and is tender like butter once cooked.
