French Bread Pizza Ingredients
  • French Bread – The better the quality, the better your pizza will taste!
  • Pizza Saucefollow this recipe for homemade pizza sauce! You can also use a store-bought pizza sauce or marinara sauce.
  • Mozzarella – Use a fresh mozzarella ball or grated mozzarella cheese (this doesn’t lose as much water on the pizza). Feel free to add some grated parmesan cheese for an extra cheesy flavor.

🍕 Pizza Topping Ideas

As a vegetarian blogger, I will show you my preferred veggie options. If not vegetarian, baguette pizza is often topped with pepperoni, ham, prosciutto, bacon, sausage, chicken, or ground beef. But please try out one of those combinations to see how delicious a vegetarian French bread pizza can taste!

Use any of those toppings ideas on your pizza:

  • Artichokes
  • Red Onion or Scallions
  • Cherry Tomatoes
  • Arugula (add once baked)
  • Zucchini
  • Mushrooms
  • Bell Pepper
  • Olives
  • Pineapple
  • Spinach

I chose the following toppings to make 4 different French bread pizza variations:

  1. Buffalo Mozzarella and Fresh Basil
  2. Artichokes, Olives, Bell Pepper, Red Onion
  3. Cremini Mushrooms
  4. Diced Tomato

🫙 Storage & Reheating Instructions

Baguette Pizza tastes best when freshly baked. However, leftover pizza can be stored in an airtight container in the refrigerator for one day and either enjoyed cold (cut into small pieces as a finger food) or briefly reheated in the oven.
