Ingredients

  • Avocado: Adds that irresistibly creamy texture we love in a mousse. Make sure to use a ripe avocado.
  • Banana: Makes it extra smooth and naturally sweet. The riper, the better!
  • Dark Chocolate: The chocolatey heart of this dessert. No mousse without it!
  • Maple Syrup: For a touch of extra sweetness. If your avocado and banana are super ripe, you might not need it at all.
  • Dairy-Free Milk: Helps blend everything beautifully while making the mousse light and airy. I love soy milk (for extra protein) or oat milk.
  • Lime Juice: Adds a little tang to balance the sweetness and round out the flavors.

Topping Ideas

Dress it up with:

  • Fresh berries
  • Coconut whipped cream
  • Shaved dark chocolate
  • Crushed nuts
  • A pinch of flaky sea salt

How To Store

This mousse keeps well in the fridge for up to 2 days. Just cover it tightly to prevent the avocado from oxidizing. I don’t recommend freezing it.
