Strawberry Salad Dressing Recipe

This dressing is made very easily and ready in just a few minutes. Whenever possible, use fresh strawberries to make it. It’s also possible to make it with frozen berries, but let them thaw up for about one hour on your countertop.

Once you have prepared the basic strawberry vinaigrette recipe, you can very quickly adapt it into a strawberry poppyseeds dressing, which has a nutty flavor and ads a little crunch to your salad.

  1. Prepare the dressing the same way as the strawberry vinaigrette.
  2. Add the poppy seeds and puls only once until the poppy seeds are mixed under → Don’t add them add the beginning, they would blend too much and get crushed.

You can store the dressing for a few days in your fridge.

Recipe Variations

  • Raspberry Vinaigrette: substitute the strawberries with raspberries
  • Use lemon or lime juice instead of red wine vinegar.
  • For an oil-free dressing, replace the oil with water.
  • Add fresh basil.
  • Season it with garlic or onion powder.
  • Substitute the maple syrup with agave nectar or any other sugar.
