Ingredients

  • Strawberries: The star of the dressing. Fresh strawberries give the best flavor, but thawed frozen strawberries work well too.
  • Olive oil: Adds richness and helps create a smooth, creamy texture.
  • Red wine vinegar: Balances the sweetness of the strawberries with a gentle acidity.
  • Maple syrup: Lightly sweetens the dressing. You can easily swap it for agave or another liquid sweetener.
  • Salt & pepper: Enhance all flavors and keep the dressing well balanced.
  • Poppy seeds (optional): Add a subtle nutty flavor and a pleasant crunch for the poppy seed variation.

  • Herby: Add fresh basil for a fragrant twist.
  • Savory: Season with garlic or onion powder.
  • Sweetener swap: Replace maple syrup with agave nectar or another sweetener of your choice.
