Do you have a favorite barbecue marinade? Feel free to toss the green asparagus spears with your favorite marinade before grilling them crisp.

To marinate, place the fresh asparagus with all the marinade ingredients in a Ziploc bag, close it, and massage (or shake) gently by hand. Super simple, super clean! Oh, and the Ziploc bag can be taken with you if you are heading to the park or friends for a barbecue – easy to make ahead of time!
