At home, I do drink just tap water or tea, but from time to time this is getting super boring. A good way to pimp up your tap water is with some fruits. There are several advantages of fruit infused water. It does taste delicious of your chosen fruit, provides you with some extra vitamins during the day, is naturally sweetened with fruit sugar, and has a wonderful color.
Simply Mango Lemonade – With loads of Vitamin C
An average mango (350g fruit pulp) contains 150mg Vitamin C and the juice of an average lemon contains 20mg Vitamin C. This simply mango lemonade is a real vitamin C booster with a total of 170mg Vitamin C. Bye bye yearly flu!!!
Simply Mango Lemonade
- 1 mango
- 1 lemon, just juice
- 1 tbsp coconut blossom syrup
- 1 pinch of salt
- 500 ml ice cold water
- some ice cubes
- Cut off all the flesh from the mango.
- Press out the juice of one lemon.
- Add all ingredients in a blender and blend until smooth and creamy.
- Serve with some ice cubes.
